The Pant Project Raises ₹109 Crore to Expand Its Menswear Business

Indian premium menswear brand The Pant Project has raised ₹109 crore in a Series B funding round led by Mirae Asset Venture Investments (India). The round also saw participation from existing investor Sorin Investments, family offices and angel investors.

Founded by brothers Dhruv Toshniwal and Udit Toshniwal, The Pant Project began as a digital-first brand focused on creating trousers and bottomwear designed around fit, fabric and comfort for Indian men. Its product range includes Malai Pants and Inklock No Fade Black Jeans, and the brand sells through its website, online marketplaces and physical stores.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its offline retail network, introduce new product categories and strengthen its omnichannel operations. It currently operates 25 exclusive brand stores across India and aims to grow this number to more than 150 over the next two to three years.

Its planned expansion includes entering categories such as jeans, athleisure and casualwear, allowing the brand to broaden its offerings beyond bottomwear. The company is also looking to invest in retail technology and expand its team as it builds a larger presence in India’s premium menswear market.

The funding marks a new phase for The Pant Project as it seeks to combine its digital-first foundation with a stronger physical retail presence.
