Krish Harish Jain Is Modernising Mumbai’s Real Estate Business

Mumbai’s real estate market presents a unique set of challenges, from limited land availability to complex redevelopment projects. For developers, growth increasingly depends on strong execution, efficient operations and an understanding of changing homebuyer expectations. At H. Rishabraj Group, Krish Harish Jain is working to strengthen the family business through structured management, new project launches and a more organised approach to development.

Building On A Family Legacy

H. Rishabraj Group was established in Mumbai in 2009 by Harrish Kumar Jain, Krish’s father. The company built its presence in the city’s redevelopment market, working on residential projects and expanding into larger developments over time.

Krish entered the business while pursuing his education, gaining exposure to the practical aspects of real estate management. He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at NMIMS University’s Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce before pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership and Organisational Change at Regent’s University London.

His international education offered an additional perspective on organisational structure and leadership. After completing his studies, he returned to India and joined the family business full-time, with a focus on strengthening the systems behind its growth.

Bringing Structure To Real Estate Operations

One of Krish’s priorities has been to develop stronger internal capabilities across the organisation. This includes establishing a dedicated sales team and strengthening the design and development functions.

These changes are intended to make the company’s operations more organised and reduce its dependence on external intermediaries. By building internal teams and clearer processes, the group can work towards better coordination between project planning, sales and execution.

The company’s redevelopment background remains central to its business. In a city such as Mumbai, where land is limited and existing residential societies often require redevelopment, developers must balance planning, construction, customer expectations and delivery.

H. Rishabraj Group has also pursued residential projects in Borivali, including H. Rishabraj AER, as part of its development activity.

Taking Real Estate Conversations Beyond Property Sales

Beyond his management role, Krish runs Speaking Real Estate, a podcast featuring conversations with developers, architects and other industry professionals. The platform explores the decisions, business models and experiences that influence real estate development.

Its guests have included industry figures such as Vijayta Raheja of K Raheja Group. The conversations offer insights into areas including project planning, leadership, commercial property and the evolution of the Indian real estate market.

For Krish, the podcast provides a way to learn from established industry professionals while making real estate discussions accessible to a wider audience. It also creates opportunities to build relationships across the sector beyond the company’s own projects.

Preparing The Business For Its Next Phase

Krish’s work reflects a broader challenge faced by family-run real estate businesses: preserving the experience and relationships built over time while introducing systems suited to future growth.

At H. Rishabraj Group, the focus on internal teams, structured operations and new project launches points towards that transition. His participation in industry discussions, including the Realty+ 40Under40 platform, has also brought attention to his role as a younger leader in the sector.

As the group continues to develop projects in Mumbai, its progress will depend on the quality of execution, customer confidence and its ability to manage growth consistently. Krish’s approach centres on building those capabilities while carrying forward the family business.
