TravClan Raises $5 Million to Expand Its Travel Technology Platform
TravClan has raised $5 million in funding from Flipkart and August One, along with debt financing from Trifecta Capital. The company plans to use the capital to expand its global travel network, strengthen its AI capabilities and improve its operations across international markets.
Founded by Arun Bagaria and Chirag Agarwal, TravClan is a travel technology company that helps travel agents and businesses manage bookings for flights, hotels, activities and international holiday packages. Its platform brings travel inventory, pricing, itinerary planning, bookings and destination support together in one place.
The company works directly with hotels and activity providers while maintaining on-ground teams across several international markets. This approach helps travel businesses manage complex trips and provide support throughout the travel experience.
More than 15,000 travel agents across India use TravClan’s platform, with around 40% of its business coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company aims to make international travel more accessible while helping travel businesses operate more efficiently.
With the latest funding, TravClan plans to invest further in technology, AI-powered booking tools and its global supply network as it continues to expand its presence in the travel industry.
