The Dough Therapy Raises ₹5.25 Cr To Expand Pizza Brand
Gourmet pizza brand The Dough Therapy has raised ₹5.25 crore in its first institutional seed funding round at a valuation of ₹35 crore. The round was led by Michigan Capital Advisors, formerly Melwani Finance, with participation from Equiglobe Investment.
Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dedhia, Mohit Chheda and Gaurav Majrekar, The Dough Therapy has grown from a single Mumbai outlet to 10 outlets. The brand offers more than 30 vegetarian and vegan pizza varieties and has built its presence around gourmet pizzas and dine-in experiences.
The company plans to use 60% of the new capital for expansion, 15% for marketing and the remaining 25% for supply-chain infrastructure, centralised operations and kitchen technology.
It aims to double its footprint to 20 outlets over the next 12 months, including expansion into new cities through company-owned outlets, select dine-in formats and franchise partnerships.
