DigitalPaani Raises ₹22 Crore to Scale AI-Powered Water Management Platform
Gurugram-based water-tech company DigitalPaani has raised ₹22 crore in a fresh funding round led by Navam Capital, as the company looks to expand its technology across industrial and municipal water-management markets.
The round also saw participation from Enzia Ventures, Chakra Growth Capital, 3one4 Capital, Momentum Capital, AWE Early Growth Fund and Echo River Capital. The latest investment adds fresh capital to DigitalPaani’s efforts to build technology for more efficient management of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
DigitalPaani uses an AI-powered platform to help operators monitor and automate water-treatment processes. The technology is designed to bring together operational data, identify inefficiencies and support better decision-making across water and wastewater facilities.
The company currently serves more than 95 facilities, with its systems supporting the treatment of over 150 million litres of water every day. Its customer base includes organisations such as Britannia, Tata Group, The Leela Hotels and the Delhi Jal Board.
For industrial and municipal operators, managing water infrastructure involves multiple variables, from treatment quality and equipment performance to energy consumption and operating costs.
DigitalPaani’s approach is focused on using technology and automation to make these systems more measurable and efficient. The fresh capital will support the company’s expansion across industrial and municipal markets while strengthening its operational capabilities. DigitalPaani also plans to use the funding to begin expanding into international markets.
The funding arrives as water management becomes a more pressing issue for businesses and cities across India. Growing industrial activity, urbanisation and pressure on water resources are increasing the need for infrastructure that can operate more efficiently.
For DigitalPaani, the opportunity lies in applying AI and automation to an essential but often highly complex infrastructure layer. Its expansion into new markets could determine how effectively the company can take its technology beyond its existing customer base.
With its latest funding, DigitalPaani is now looking to scale both its technology and its footprint as demand for smarter water-management systems continues to grow.
