How Cent Health Is Helping People Detect Serious Diseases Early
Cent Health is building a preventive healthcare platform focused on identifying serious health risks before symptoms appear. Founded by Shashank ND, Anshul Khandelwal and Arpit Garg, the company combines advanced diagnostics, artificial intelligence and medical expertise to make health screening more comprehensive.
From Personal Loss To A Business Idea
The idea behind Cent came from Shashank ND’s personal experience of losing three people close to him to late-stage cancer. It led him to question why serious illnesses are often discovered only after symptoms develop. Alongside his co-founders, he set out to build a healthcare model focused on early detection rather than waiting for illness to become apparent.
Combining Advanced Scans With AI
Cent brings together full-body MRI, CT scans, laboratory tests and other diagnostic assessments to screen for potential cancer, cardiac, neurological and metabolic risks. Its AI-supported system helps analyse health data, while specialist doctors review findings and guide patients on appropriate next steps.
The company also aims to make preventive care an ongoing process through follow-up assessments, doctor consultations and digital health tracking, rather than limiting it to a single checkup.
Building A More Proactive Approach To Healthcare
Cent launched publicly in March 2026 and reported raising approximately $5 million in seed funding from South Park Commons and OneFlow Holdings. The company is developing dedicated screening centres and expanding its approach to preventive healthcare across major Indian cities.
By combining technology with specialist medical review, Cent aims to help people better understand their health and identify potential risks earlier. Its approach reflects a broader shift towards making preventive screening a more regular part of healthcare.
